Your Sold Listings When Representing A Buyer

If you are actively working with a buyer on the purchase of a home, and would like to showcase that listing as "SOLD" on your website (once it sells) then this guide is for you.

Note: Our websites automatically import your own active listings (when you're the listing agent) but we don't know who the buyer agent is until the property has sold. Real estate boards require us to remove listings from the web once a listing is no longer active. This means that we're unable to automatically display your buyer-side sales.

Our Solution

We have implemented a toggle in the backend of your RealtyNinja website that allows you to mark active listings as "working with buyer". This will tell our system to NOT remove the listing when it goes off the market. From there, you'll be able to mark it as "Sold" and it will appear on your website. See the instructions below for a step by step guide.

Step 1. While the listing is still active, import it into your website by MLS number. This can be done in the backend of your website (yourwebsite.com/login) under the LISTINGS section.

Step 2. Click "Yes" on the "Working with buyer?" toggle.

Step 3. Once the listing is no longer active, our system will automatically email you and ask if you've sold it. If you have sold it, click the link in your email (or click on LISTINGS > INACTIVE LISTINGS in the backend of your site) and then click "MARK SOLD" on the listing.

That's all! The listing will now be shown in your "Sold Listings" page, with a label that says "Represented Buyer".

Attention REALTORS® Association of Edmonton (RAE) Agents

RAE has changed their data policy for ALL 3rd parties (not just RealtyNinja). They are no longer allowing us to keep your sold listing data in our system. Once a listing's status has been changed to SOLD on MLS®, we MUST completely delete it from our system, and you need to manually re-add the sold listing afterwards. As part of our third-party data agreement with RAE we are required to follow this rule and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
