Verifying Your Website On Pinterest

When you set your website URL in Pinterest, it will ask you to verify that you are indeed the owner of the website.

This is how you do it:

1. In Pinterest, go to your profile
2. Click the pencil icon on your profile
3. Add your website URL to the website field (ex: http://www.yourname.com)
4. Click VERIFY WEBSITE
5. Choose VERIFY WITH META TAG
   
6. Copy the "meta tag" they provide
7. In a new browser tab, login to your website (yourwebsite.com/login)
8. Click SETTINGS
9. Click CUSTOM CODE
10. Paste in the meta tag in the CUSTOM HEADER CODE field
11. Click APPLY CHANGES
12. Go back to Pinterest and click COMPLETE VERIFICATION

Note: This only works on websites that have been launched onto a full domain (yourname.com as apposed to yourname.realtyninja.com)
