Creating A Custom Building Group

Definition: A Custom Building Group allows you to hand-pick certain buildings and group them together.

Examples of Custom Building Groups:

• Pre-Sale Developments
• Central Lonsdale Condo Buildings
• Lower Lonsdale Condo Buildings

How To Create A Custom Building Group

1. Login to your website (yourwebsite.com/login)

2. Click BUILDINGS in the backend of your website

   

3. Click "Add Building Group" on the right side

   

4. Type in a name for your group, for example "Central Lonsdale Condo Buildings"

5. Click on the name of your new group (on the right side)

   

6. Click ADD A BUILDING and fill in the form provided. Repeat for each building in the group.

   
   

   Note: This will add buildings to your chosen group, but they will only display in the backend of your website. Follow the next steps to actually add them to a page on your website.

7. Click EDIT MY WEBSITE
8. Click MANAGE PAGES
9. Click CREATE NEW PAGE
10. Type in a name for your new page (ex: "Central Lonsdale Condo Buildings")

11. Choose "Buildings" from the "Page Type" dropdown menu

    

12. Click CREATE PAGE

13. Click on the "Page Layout & Widgets" Icon next to the page you just made

    

14. In the right pane, click the "Widget Options" icon next to the "Buildings" widget

    

15. Choose your new group from the "Building Group" dropdown

    

    Optional: Set the widget to display buildings from ALL groups 

    

16. Click APPLY CHANGES
17. Click SAVE CHANGES
18. Optional: Position the page in your navigation menu by dragging it in the list of pages, drag it to the right to create a sub-page
19. Click DONE

How To Create A Custom Building Group

5. Type in a name for your new page (ex: "Lower Lonsdale Condo Buildings")

6. Choose "Buildings" from the "Page type" dropdown menu

   

7. Click CREATE PAGE
8. Optional: Position the page in your navigation menu by dragging it in the list of pages, drag it to the right to create a sub-page
9. Click SAVE

10. Click BUILDINGS in the RealtyNinja backend (not inside your own website)

    

11. Click on the name of the new group you have created, it's shown in the right side menu

    

12. Click ADD A BUILDING and fill in the form provided. Repeat for each building in the group.

Note: Make sure you choose the correct group under "Building Page" when filling in the form.
