Forcing Facebook To Use A Proper Preview Image When Sharing Content

When you share a link on Facebook (such as a blog post or listing) it automatically picks out the photos and text content to be shown with the link once you have posted it. The issue is that sometimes it shows old/outdated content and photos, which at first looks like an issue with our system. It turns out that this is a known issue with Facebook and is very easy to fix. 

All you have to do is open the following link and paste the URL you are trying to share into the text area. This will refresh the Facebook 'cache' and make it so that it pulls the correct photos and content the next time you try to share the link:

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Once you click the above link and enter the URL. It will reset the cache. You can close that page and try add the post again.
